This is a unique condominium complex where every unit has direct unobstructed Gulf views. Fisherman's Cove is one of the closest condos to the Gulf on all of Siesta Key. You could throw a tennis ball into the Gulf from these Siesta Key beachfront condos at Fisherman's Cove! Located on Turtle Beach on the island of Siesta Key off Sarasota, Florida, our condos have the beach in front and the intracoastal waterway and boat docks in back. Turtle Beach is less crowded than Siesta Key Beach and great for beach and water activities and of course fishing! The view is to the west for spectacular sunsets! It is not unusual to be able to watch dolphins swim by in the Gulf from the lanai / patio. Fisherman's Cove is a small complex with only 84 units in two 3-story buildings.

Fisherman's Cove is the only vacation rental on Siesta Key that is both directly on the ocean (Gulf of Mexico) and on the Blind Pass Inlet, that leads to Florida's ICW (Intracoastal Waterway.)
OCEAN FRONT: Enjoy swimming in the warm Gulf of Mexico waters, or fishing directly from the beach. Incredible sunsets!
BAY FRONT: We have direct access to Florida's Intracoastal Waterway. You can actually take your boat from our "backyard" to anyplace in the United States on the ICW. A free boat dock is included in our prices for your water toys. Blind Pass Inlet is the most popular kayaking site on the key and many nature preserves are within a mornings paddle!

Our condos are all on the beach and completely renovated! Step out of your lanai right onto the sand! All rooms have a view of the Gulf. We have equipped all our units with lots of extras including beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach toys, beach carts, ,coolers and more! Tell us your favorite alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage and it will be waiting for you upon arrival! The master bedrooms have king-size beds, large HDTV, walk-in closet, and en suite bathrooms with large tiled showers and granite counter tops. The second bedrooms are each uniquely furnished to sleep up to four people, full closet, HDTV. Our beautiful kitchens are fully stocked with everything you need to prepare a gourmet meal. The second full baths have tiled showers and granite counter tops. All units are equipped with its own high-speed WIFI internet access. and full size washer/dryer. We also have a beautiful heated pool free boat docks and barbeque areas on the intracoastal!
Fisherman's Cove Beach Fishing
Fisherman's Cove was built on a VERY narrow strip of sand that was previously the home of an old Florida Fish Camp. The condos sit directly on the beach that has been known as the best fishing area on Siesta Key for over a century.
Beginning in May and running sometimes well into the fall, our guests can see giant Tarpon "rolling" only about 100 yards off shore. In the prime months, you'll see the fishing boats out there right after dawn trying the hook the "Silver Kings." Occasionally, a lucky guest will actually pull one in while fishing from the beach.
Guests regularly catch Pompano, Sheepshead, Black Drum, Flounder, Lady Fish, Whiting, Jack Crevalle, Snook and a variety of other fish right off the beach and from the boat docks.
If you are interested in testing your luck fishing while you are our guest, we'll be happy to provide some tips and references for fishing charters.
Kayaking at Fisherman's Cove
Siesta Key residents know where to come for the best kayaking in the Sarasota area. (The same area many commercial kayaking tours start from.) Turtle Beach Park, right next to Fisherman's Cove. This area is ideal for anyone interested in exploring the Jim Neville Marine Preserve, venturing around the mangrove islands, or beaching it at Palmer Point Beach Park, a secluded public beach accessible by boat or kayak.
During the warmer months dolphins and manatees can be observed around the mangrove islands. In the winter months there are a large amount of migrating birds.
